Ennis Duathlon 2014 had athletes run 2.7k , cycle 16k and then run a shorter run course of 2.4k. The race attracted the very best male athletes and podium places were hotly contested. In the end, Colm Turner showed fine form to comfortably cruise home in 45.29, followed by Clarecastle native and Ennis Triathlon Club member, Paddy Quinn in 45.52 with Brian Campion third in 46.00. In the ladies event, race favourite Anna Crooks romped home in a time of 50.41 with Carolyn Hayes and Becky Coughlan following with times of 53.47 and 54.58 respectively, making it a clean sweep for the GoTri Triathlon Club of Shannon.
